Clarksville Police arrest Juveniles for Burglary

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On January 8th, 2013, 5:20pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a Burglary of Vehicle at 608 Cleveland Drive after a watchful neighbor called 911 when she saw two males at her next door neighbor’s house. One was attempting to break into a truck in the driveway while the other was by the garage door.

When officers arrived they found the truck was damaged by someone trying to pry the door open. It was also determined the residence and a shed had been broken into while the homeowner was away.

Detective Dave Bramel developed a 14 and 17 year old male as the suspects, at which time they were located.

During an interview with the juveniles it was determined the 14 year old had tried to break into the truck and made entry into the house and the 17 year old had also been involved in making entry into the residence. The juveniles revealed where stolen property was located and it was recovered.

The 14 year old was charged with Aggravated Burglary and Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary.

The 17 year old was charged with Aggravated Burglary.

The juveniles were detained and then turned over to their parents/guardians.
