Grand Jury indicts Man for Hitting Two Vehicles in August, 2012

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – A man has been indicted after crashing into two vehicles on August 31st, 2012.

Danny Bueno was indicted by the January 2013 Grand Jury after crashing into vehicles, August 31st, 2012 around 4:30pm on Dunbar Cave Road and Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

According to witness accounts, Bueno was driving a Ford Explorer erratically west on Dunbar Cave Road, failed to maintain the lane of travel, crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a 1993 Ford F-150. Bueno had his left arm on the outside of his vehicle and suffered a severe injury during the collision.

Bueno left the scene and continued west on Dunbar Cave Road. A man in a 2007 Chevy Tahoe attempted to stop Bueno and have him wait for help at the intersection of Dunbar Cave Road and Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. Bueno intentionally rammed the Tahoe as he sped off, traveling North on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Clarksville Police Officers located and stopped Bueno at Trane’s parking lot at Stone Container Road. Bueno had to transported from the scene and was taken by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for his injuries.

During the investigation by Officer Melissa Spielhagen, it was determined Bueno had been drinking on August 31st and had a BAC level in excess of twice the legal limit. The information was presented to the January 2013 Grand Jury and Bueno was indicted for: Two Counts of DUI, Two Counts of Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Two Counts of Leaving the Scene.

On January 11th, 2013 was booked into Montgomery County Jail with a $5,000 Bond. He has since made Bond and been released.
