The spring opener brings Sean Bailey back to the court for his senior season. The Manitoba, Canada native is already one of the most decorated player’s Austin Peay tennis history, and has a chance to become the first four-time all-conference player in APSU history.

“Sean brings a lot to the team,” said head coach Ross Brown. “He leads by example, and that’s huge for us. His mental toughness and ability to play through any circumstances is great.”

Junior Jasmin Ademovic, who joined Bailey as first-team All-OVC last season, and sophomores Dimitar Ristovski and Aleksas Tverijonas return to give Brown a solid foundation in his first year in Clarksville.

The Govs haven’t faced Samford since 2007, back when the Bulldogs were an Ohio Valley Conference opponent. The Bulldogs were 17-5 last season, including a 9-1 mark in the Southern Conference. All-SoCon seniors Zac Dunkle and Alex Sajonz return for Samford, while Wisconsin transfer Austin Akers makes his dual debut for the Bulldogs.
