Clarksville Police add Criminal Homicide Warrant to TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted Danyon Dowlen

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Demone Chestnut has secured a Criminal Homicide warrant on Danyon Dowlen in conjunction with the shooting death of Charles Sims.

An eyewitness who was present before, during, and after the gunfight advised there was an exchange of gunfire between Dowlen and Sims. As a result of the confrontation, Charles Sims was fatally shot by Dowlen.

Two People injured during Party Shooting released from Hospital according to Clarksville Police

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responded to a shooting during a party at 135 Westfield Court, apartment 106, on January 31st, 2013, around 10:30pm.

Clarksville Police report Two People Shot when Men walk into Party and start shooting

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are still sorting through different accounts of the sequence of events which occurred at 135 Westfield Court, apartment 106, on January 31st, 2013, around 10:30pm.

Officers responded to several reports of shots fired at 135 Westfield Court. When officers arrived they found a chaotic scene with multiple victims/witnesses in and outside of apartment 106. Officers found one man inside of apartment 106 with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The TSU Invitational starts 6:00pm, Friday, with the pole vault at the Dunn Center on the third floor before moving to the Gentry Center for the remainder of competition, beginning at 8:00am, Saturday.

The Honor Band

 

TrumpetClarksville, TN – The past two weekends have been a pretty exciting time in our household. My oldest son Walt, an eighth grade student at Rossview Middle School, earned the privilege of playing in two different Mid-State Honor Bands.

He was selected to play in the Jr. High Gold Band, as well as the Jr. High Gold Jazz Band.  To make one of those bands is certainly an accomplishment, but to make it into both of them is, in my opinion, amazing! «Read the rest of this article»
