2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Return Home
 
Fort Campbell, KY – A welcome home ceremony is scheduled to be held to recognize the return of the Strike Advisory Teams from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
The location is scheduled to take place at Fort Campbell’s Passenger Processing Center (Building 7162 Bay D) beginning at 8:15pm.
 The Strike Advisory Teams from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), receives applause from the Screaming Eagles leadership at the Fort Campbell flight line. The Strike teams return home after completing a nine-month tour in Eastern Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and were the International Security Assistance Force’s lead units in facilitating the transition of full combat power to the Afghan National Security Forces in Regional Command East.
The welcome home ceremony completes the Strike Advisory Teams’ nine-month tour in Eastern Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, where they were the International Security Assistance Force’s lead unit facilitating the transition of full combat power to the Afghan National Security Forces in Regional Command East.
