Austin Peay Lady Govs Tennis lose to Chattanooga Lady Mocs

APSU Sports: Austin Peay Women’s Tennis

Chattanooga, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team returned to action at Chattanooga, Friday, but were soundly defeated by the Lady Mocs in a 7-0 loss. The Lady Govs drop to 0-2 on the season.

Cornea and sophomore Ornella Di Salvo held it close in No. 1 doubles, falling 5-8 to Jones and Kelsey Coots. However, the next two doubles pairs did not take a set in either loss.

Austin Peay has a quick turnaround, traveling to Evansville for a 7:00pm match against the Purple Aces, Saturday.
