Clarksville, TN – The Kenwood High School lobby was crowded with family and friends of Maleek Hall Wednesday morning, as he signed his letter of intent to play football for Tennessee Tech of the Ohio Valley Conference.
Hall had a superb senior season, rushing for 1506 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Kenwood football coach Kevin Goltra commented on his star player.“Maleek was our best defensive and offensive player this past season.” “He is an extremely versatile player who I expect is going to perform well at the next level. I’m going to miss him like crazy.”Maleek was joined by his mother and brother at the signing ceremony.
Hall is a multi-sport athlete who plays football, basketball and runs track.
“He started playing sports in the 5th grade” said his mother Monique. “It’s been a long road for Maleek. Being a young man in this day and age is tough. I’m glad he has made all the right decisions to get him to this day.”
