Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is performing increased traffic enforcement, during the peak crash times between 4:00pm and 5:00pm, on Fort Campbell Boulevard every Thursday and Friday.
The traffic special to reduce crashes on Fort Campbell Boulevard during the peak hours of 4:00pm–5:00pm yielded the following results: Thursday, February 7th thee were 34 Vehicles stopped, 45 Charges for Speeding, Seat belt, and failure to provide proof of insurance were the majority of the citations.
There were no crashes reported in the enforment area during the traffic special.
Friday, February 8th there were 20 Vehicles stopped, 27 Charges for Speeding, Proof of Insurance, and Light Law were the majority of citations
One traffic crash ocurred in the enforcement area during the traffic special.
