Rivers & Spires Festival offers chance to meet Family Fun Stage Headliners Building 429

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The Rivers & Spires Festival, coming up April 18th-20th, has confirmed Dove Award winning Christian group Building 429 will headline the Family Fun Stage on Saturday, April 20th at 5:00pm.

“We’re excited about being a part of the 11th annual Rivers & Spires Festival,” says Larry Riley, senior pastor of Clarksville’s First Baptist Church. “It’s a great opportunity for our church to partner with Clarksville in supporting our city, her families, and Christian values.”

First Baptist Church has been a long-time sponsor of the Rivers & Spires Festival and the family activites, including the Building 429 concert, that are made available free for attendees.

Building 429 is known for their chart topping singles such as Glory Defined, The Space Between Us and All You Ask of Me. This group has garnered a national following to become one of the Christian music community’s most impactful ministries. In 2012, Building 429’s breakout single Where I Belong was awarded Christian Song of the Year, according to the Billboard 2012 year-end charts. Billboard also named the song its Christian AC Song of the Year, after it held itself at number one for 15 weeks.

During their decade together, Building 429 has also toured alongside bands such as Newsboys, New Song, Casting Crowns, Paul Coleman and BarlowGirl. A band made up of young and energetic musicians, their show is one that is a must see. They will bring their inspirational message to the stage and are sure to entertain.

About the Festival

The 11th annual Rivers & Spires Festival will be held April 18th-20th, 2013 in Downtown Clarksville. This event has five stages of entertainment with over 100 entertainers performing all three days. From children’s activities, arts & crafts, car shows, military exhibits, Brewfest, shopping and so much more this is truly an event for the whole family. Admission to the Festival is free including all concerts and many games and activities.
