Kenwood Middle School students get Disciplinary Action for bringing BB Gun to School

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School SystemMontgomery County, TN – An empty BB gun was confiscated today at Kenwood Middle School. During third period, the physical education teachers discovered the empty BB gun in the bleachers of the gym.

They immediately notified the School Resource Officer and the administration. The item was secured, and the School Resource Officer identified it as a BB gun with no BB pellets.

The school administrators launched an immediate investigation into this incident. At the conclusion of the investigation, students were given consequences for their part in this situation.

“The mission of Kenwood Middle School is to provide a positive, safe learning environment where students are prepared for future growth.  We take this entire matter very seriously, and we will continue to be vigilant in our efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of all our students,” said Kenwood Principal Evelyn Martinez.

Kenwood Middle parents received a phone notification about the incident.
