Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Patrol and traffic enforcement officers were out in force Wednesday on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard between 3:00pm and 5:00pm in an effort to reduce crashes.
During this time, police issued 75 citations.
Citations Issued
Child restraint-1, Window Tint-11, Equipment-1, Revoked/Suspended License-2, Improper Passing-2, Improper Turn-1, Insurance-7, Seat Belt-11, Light law-4, Other D.L-3, Speeding-1, Traffic Signal-1, Failure to Use Reasonable Care-2, Vehicle Registration-20, Move Over Law-3, and TEXTING-5.
The traffic enforcement specials will continue on Wilma Rudolph, as personnel resources permit, with additional emphasis being placed on texting and driving.
There were no motor vehicle crashes on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard during the traffic enforcement special.
