Montgomery County, TN – Spring is in the air and that means that Youth Art Month is on the way. The annual event will kick off Sunday, March 3rd with a public reception at the Clarksville Montgomery County Library from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
The exhibit will be open the entire month of March and will feature art from some of Clarksville’s best young artists– the students of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. As a special treat, Carmel Elementary will open an additional exhibit at Planters Bank on March 7th. The opening will be part of the Thursday Art Walk and it will remain open for the rest of the month. Carmel Elementary also will host a FUEL Supper on March 21st.
All ticket proceeds will benefit the school’s FUEL program, which provides food for children who may not otherwise have access to nutritious meals at home. The menu will be simple as a way to remind everyone that many people have little or nothing to choose from for supper.
In addition, there will be an Art Auction and Book Fair at the event.
The Clarksville Montgomery County Library is located at350 Pageant Lane.
