Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Patrol and Traffic Enforcement Officers were out in force Wednesday, February 27th on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard between 3:00pm and 5:00pm in an effort to reduce crashes.
During this time, police issued 59 citations.

Child restraint-1, Window Tint-7, Equipment-9, Improper Passing-2, Improper Turn-5, Insurance-1, Seat Belt-8, Following Too Closely- 2, Other D.L-10, Speeding-4, Traffic Signal-1, Vehicle Registration-6, Failure to Yield-1, Illegal Parking-1, Texting-1.
The traffic enforcement specials will continue on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, as personnel resources permit, with additional emphasis being placed on texting and driving.
There were one motor vehicle crashes on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard during the traffic enforcement special.
