Fort Campbell’s Campbell Crossing receives 2012 RCI Project of the Year

Campbell Crossing Employee Recognized as Unsung Hero

Campbell CrossingFort Campbell, KY – Campbell Crossing, Lend Lease’s privatized family housing community on Fort Campbell, KY, is honored to announce that it has been named the 2012 Top Residential Communities Initiative (RCI) Project, an award given by the U.S. Army Installation Management Command.

Awarded annually, selection criteria this year focused on both customer service and property management.

This is the first time that Campbell Crossing has had the honor of receiving the award. The Army’s RCI program, which began in 1995, is dedicated to building quality residential communities for Soldiers and their families and committed to making Army installations safe, attractive, and modern places.

The RCI program is comprised of 44 installations (combined into 34 projects) with over 85,000 homes and amounting to 98 percent of the U.S.

Army’s family housing inventory in the U.S. “We have a great partnership here at Fort Campbell with Lend Lease and Campbell Crossing,” said Phil Garito, Housing Chief, for Fort Campbell Housing Services. “The entire team at Campbell Crossing is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Soldiers and their families.”

One of the main goals of Campbell Crossing’s property management team, and the key to the Project’s long-term success, rests in the achievement of high resident satisfaction. The full measure of resident satisfaction includes the complete living experience for a family; it starts when a family reaches out to the leasing staff to learn more about the benefits of living on post, and includes their experiences with their community and maintenance staffs.

The Campbell Crossing approach ensures that each family’s specific needs are taken care of throughout every level of their housing experience. Campbell Crossing measures its resident satisfaction through a third-party survey where results are based solely on feedback from current residents. Satisfaction is based on their experiences in the areas of wait list, move-in, work order, and resident experiences. Campbell Crossing consistently maintains an overall rating of Exceptional or Superior in all areas.

In addition to being selected for the Top RCI Project award, Tony Jones, a Campbell Crossing maintenance technician, was selected as one of the RCI’s Unsung Heroes for going above and beyond to meet the needs of military families assigned to Fort Campbell. Tony’s recognition is based on not only his outstanding job performance, but more for his devotion to serving people in the best way that he can. Tony does the “right thing” all the time without hesitation or expecting anything in return.

“The property Management team here at Campbell Crossing continues to go above and beyond for those living at Fort Campbell,” said Mike Goodwin, Project Director. “The team works hard to make sure that the families feel at home and that their needs are met.”
