APSU Sports: Austin Peay Women’s Tennis
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team will host Lindsey Wilson, 12:30pm, Sunday, at the Austin Peay Tennis Center.

The Lady Govs return to action eight days after picking up their season’s first victory against Southern Indiana, February 23rd. At 1-5, the Lady Govs look to make it two in a row and get their season back on the third-place course prognosticated in the Ohio Valley Conference preseason poll.
Sophomore Vanessa Tavares is 2-4 in No. 4 singles – equaling Ornella Di Salvo’s team-high in singles wins – and 3-3 with partner Alison Carre in doubles.
Lindsey Wilson College is 2-2 in 2013, and are coming off a 7-0 loss at Eastern Kentucky, Saturday. Senior Slavica Milanovic, the Blue Raiders No. 1 player, is 2-2 after losing to EKU’s Amandine Faouzi, 6-0, 6-3, Saturday.
Austin Peay continues the 2013 campaign when it hosts Lipscomb, 2:00pm, Tuesday.
