APSU Governors Golf’s Marco Iten named OVC Co-Golfer of the Week

Clarksville, TN - Austin Peay State University junior golfer Marco Iten has been named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Conference Male co-golfer of the week after leading the Governors to a spring-opening victory at the Harmony Golf Preserve Intercollegiate last week.
Iten took second overall with an even-par-216 in Orlando, FL, leading APSU to a spring-opening championship—their third title of the year. His even-par 72 on the Wednesday tied for the final round’s low score in extremely windy conditions on a day when 78 was the average.
Iten opened the tourney with a 2-under 70 before giving back those strokes the next day with a 74. However, he led the Govs strong finish last Wednesday.
