Montgomery County, TN – Jacobi Pender was indicted for 1st Degree Murder by the March 2013 Montgomery County Grand Jury.
The indictment stems from an investigation into the death of Pender’s five month old child at 3735 Fox Hole drive. When officers arrived on scene the child had already been removed from the residence by emergency responders and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The residence was cordoned off and an investigation into the unattended death was initiated, which is standard procedure. As the investigation proceeded, it was determined to be a homicide and Jacobi Pender was developed as a suspect. The case was presented to the March 2013 grand jury and Jacobi Pender was indicted for 1st Degree Murder.
The lead investigator is Clarksville Police Detective Tim Finley.
On March 11th, 2013, Jacobi Pender was charged with 1st Degree Murder.
