The Govs were picked to finish first in the OVC in the preseason poll and seek to get off to a good start with a strong opening weekend.
The Colonels enter the weekend at 5-10 overall and on a four-match losing streak. Eastern Kentucky has played a tough non-conference schedule, with losses to ITA-ranked foes Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Samford and Tennessee accounting for half its defeats.
Morehead State is 3-5, but has won two of its last three matches, against Charleston (W. Va.) and Western Kentucky. Junior Ji Hoon Heo, the Eagles No. 1 player, is 4-4 during the spring dual season.
