Nashville Predators get needed win against Calgary Flames

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – The Nashville Predators returned to “Smashville” for a much needed victory tonight as the Predators defeated the Calgary Flames 5-3 at the Bridgestone Arena.

Mike Fisher scored two goals and Martin Erat, Nick Spaling and Brandon Yip had the other goals for the Predators. Pekka Rinne had 19 saves on the night.

Clarksville City Council Ward 2 and Ward 3 Town Hall Meeting April 2nd, 2013

Tennessee Department of Transportation Maintenance Work for Montgomery County area starting March 22nd, 2013

Clarksville-Montgomery County School System weather statement for Friday morning, March 22nd

 

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School SystemMontgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency says the weather outlook for Friday morning could bring some frozen precipitation around daybreak which could cause some slick spots.

Temperatures are supposed to be above freezing by 9:00am and the precipitation will be rain the rest of the day. Our transportation team will be out on the roads between 3:00am and 4:00am to find out what it’s like.

All may be on schedule, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Clarksville Police charge Joshua Dunlap for 2nd Overnight Robbery

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – There were two robberies on March 19th and March 29th which Clarksville Police believed involved the same suspect. One was March 19th, 2013 around 7:00pm at 303 College Street. The other was March 20th, 2013 around 3:50am at 301 Providence Boulevard.

Detective Kenny Bradley’s investigation has resulted in Joshua Charles Dunlap being charged for the robbery which occurred at 301 Providence Boulevard. Since Dunlap is still a resident in Montgomery County Jail, the warrant for Aggravated Robbery will be served on him in jail.

Austin Peay State University receives National Student Veterans Award

 

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – On Monday, March 18th, Austin Peay State University received a national award from the Student Veterans of America in honor of the commitments APSU has made in the last few years to help active duty military, reservists, national guardsmen and veteran students earn their college degrees.

“The award honors APSU for its superior work helping veterans and their families,” SVO President Michael Cleveland said.
