Music Concert to be part of 2013 Governor’s One Shot Turkey Hunt Weekend

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – A country music concert featuring Daryle Singletary and Gary Morris will be part of the annual Governor’s One Shot Turkey Hunt Weekend. The concert will be held on Friday, April 5th beginning at 7:00pm at the Williamson County Ag Expo Center in Franklin, TN.

General admission tickets are now on sale for the concert and are $25.00 each. The tickets may be purchased through the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation website at www.twrf.net/tickets or by calling 615.831.9311, ext. 118. Tickets will also be available at the door the evening of the show.

Both Singletary and Morris are avid turkey hunters and long-time supporters of the Governor’s One Shot Turkey Hunt. Singletary has charted 14 singles, including the hits “I Let Her Lie” and “Amen Kind of Love” which each made it to all the way to No. 2 nationally and “Too Much Fun” which climbed the charts to No. 4.

Morris has charted more than 20 singles. His rendition of “Wind Beneath My Wings” has been a staple on country music radio for decades. Four of his hits made it all the way to No. 1 including “Baby Bye Bye”, “I’ll Never Stop Loving You”, “100 Percent Chance of Rain”, and “Leave Me Lonely”. Along with the two featured artists, other surprise guests are expected to perform during the evening.

Country music concert featuring Daryle Singletary and Gary Morris Concert goers are invited to come early and visit the various vendors, displays, and outdoor gear on the arena floor. Doors will open for the event at 5:00pm.

The Governor’s One Shot Turkey Hunt annually attracts hunters and outdoors enthusiasts. Proceeds benefit the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation and various outreach programs of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
