Brentwood, TN – Dustin Korte, who record his career’s first medalist honor in leading Austin Peay State University to the Memphis Intercollegiate championship this week, has been named Ohio Valley Conference adidas® Male Golfer of the Week.
The Metropolis, IL, native carded rounds of 71-75-72 to finish at 218 (+2) and to earn medalist honors in a field that featured six teams ranked in the Top 100 by Golfweek.com.
Korte bested a field of 89 competitors and helped Austin Peay to the team title—its fourth team championship in its last six events this season.
This marks the second time this season Korte has been named OVC Golfer of the Week. He currently ranks tied for eighth in the OVC in stroke average (73.6).
