Fort Campbell’s Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center April Activities

Fort Campbell, KY – Join Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center (D.W. Rec) for some great April activities!  They start the month off with a Dinner and a Play Production on April 5th and 6th. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm and the play will begin at 7:00pm.

Featured will be two hilarious one-act plays by Peter Tolan, “Stay Carl Stay” and “Pillow Talk”.  Your meal will be catered by Chef Bob at Sportsman’s Lodge and will consist of schnitzel, coleslaw and potato salad. The cost of the dinner and production is $20.00. Tickets must be purchased by April 2nd.

On April 14th, DW Rec will hold a Post Wide Table Tennis Tournament, starting at 2:00pm. This tournament is open to all eligible MWR users. Ages 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent while they are in the building.  Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in several categories.

Join in the Madden 13 Tournament (Xbox 360) on April 21st at 2:00pm. This tournament is open to all eligible MWR users. Ages 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers.

On April 28th, D.W. Rec will be holding a Talent Contest. The contestant meeting will begin at 2:00pm and the show will begin at 3:00pm. Trophies will be awarded to the top two finishers in the following adult categories:  vocal, vocal/instrumental (group or soloist), vocal group, vocal duet, dance, instrumental, spoken word, and specialty.  There will be additional awards for youth, ages 13 to 18; and child, ages 6 to 12 categories.

As always, you are invited to participate in their recurring events: Watch WWE on Monday at 7:00pm; play in a 9-Ball Tournament on Monday at 7:00pm; Madden 12 Tournament on Tuesday at 7:00pm; Dart Tournament on Wednesday at 7;00pm; Spades Tournament on Thursday at 6:30pm, Table Tennis Tournament on Friday at 7:00pm; and an 8-Ball Tournament on Saturday at 3:00pm.
