The Govs then start the season’s second half when they meet Western Kentucky in a 6:00pm, Wednesday contest in Bowling Green, KY.

Clarksville Police Department releases name of Madison Street Motorcycle Fatality

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have released the name of the motorcyclist that died in an accident on Madison Street.

On Sunday, March 31st, a 1987 Chevy Nova made a left turn out of Tradewinds South, 1947 Madison Street into the path of an oncoming 2008 Harley motorcycle.

The male rider died from his injuries.

APSU Governors Tennis heads to Murray State Tuesday

 

Austin Peay State University Governors SportsClarksville, TN – After a weekend of rest, Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team returns to action when it travels to Murray, KY, for a battle against archrival Murray State, 2:00pm, Tuesday.

The match is scheduled to take place at the Bennie Purcell Tennis Courts.

After two non-padded practices last week and Monday’s shoulder-pads-only workout, the Governors finally will get to show their wares to new coach Kirby Cannon.

City of Clarksville’s Spring Eggstravanganza Easter Egg Hunt was a blast!

 

Spring EggstravaganzaClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation held their annual Spring Eggstravanganza Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at at the Heritage Park Baseball Fields.

This year separate hunts were held for each age between 2 and 10 with hunts kicking off every 15 minutes.  There were more than 20,000 eggs; scattered among them were special prize eggs.
