Fort Campbell’s Air Assault Auto brings back Free Hot Dog Fridays

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – You deserve a break so get out of the office and visit Air Assault Auto on Free Hot Dog Friday.  On April 19th, starting at 11:00am, Air Assault Auto will be cooking hotdogs and serving sodas and chips.

The food is free and there will be in-store specials!  Mark your calendars for every third Friday between now and August.  Future dates are:  May 17th, June 21st, July 19th, and August 16th.

Air Assault Auto is located at building 5300 on the corner of Airborne Street and Tennessee Avenue.

APSU Sports: Austin Peay Women’s Tennis

Austin Peay State University Lady GovsMurray, KY – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team saw its two-match winning streak snapped when they ran up against a dangerous Murray State squad at the Bennie Purcell Tennis Courts, Tuesday.

The Racers dispatched the Lady Govs, 7-0, to drop Austin Peay below .500 in conference play.

Austin Peay State University Governors SportsMurray, KY – A dominant performance against rival Murray State pushed Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team’s win streak to 11 matches, Tuesday.

The Governors were rarely challenged en route to a 7-0 victory at the Bennie Purcell Tennis Courts.

American Floyd concert held Saturday Night at Austin Peay State University

 

Clarksville, TN – American Floyd put on a great show at Austin Peay State University‘s Mabry Concert Hall in the Music/Mass Communications Building in Clarksville on Saturday Night.

American Floyd is a Pink Floyd tribute band that features Mark Hawkins on the guitar and lead vocals, Phillip Neal on the Keyboard and Lead Vocals, Sean Harrison on the bass guitar, John Whitehead on drums, Mark Haye on the guitar, Andy Flores on the Keyboard, and Ray Warfield on the Saxophone. The back up singers were Bruce Erwin and Ann Marie Brown.

If you’re a Pink Floyd or Classic Rock fan, this band that you will not want to miss if you get the chance to see them perform live.

Dave Loos stepping down as athletics director at Austin Peay State University marks an end of a rare era

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – On April 2nd, and on the court that bears his name, Austin Peay State University’s Dave Loos and school President Tim Hall made it official that Loos will be stepping down as athletics director, but continue as the school’s head men’s basketball coach.

Loos will remain as athletics director until a new one is put in place later this spring or early summer.
