Before The Festival

Operation Volunteer

New South Coffee Company is taking a proactive approach to caring for the community, as well as helping to prepare for the Festival. On Saturday, April 13th at 9:00am they will host a downtown clean-up called Operation Volunteer. People can come out and help clean up Historic Downtown Clarksville, not just getting rid of debris, but also graffiti and other beautification projects.

Festival Weekend

Set-up

Rivers and Spires Festival April 18th-20th

If it were not for the hard work of our set-up crews, the Festival would not be possible! The set-up volunteers assist with everything from placing tents, tables and chairs to helping with stage and entertainment prep. These volunteers should be in good physical condition and able to lift at least 30 pounds. Set-up times are morning hours on Thursday, April 18th and Friday, April 19th.

You can sign up online at the Volunteer Clarksville website –www.volunteerclarksville.volunteerhub.com/.

Family Fun Zone

Family Fun ZoneOne of the elements that makes Rivers and Spires so fabulous is the free Family Fun Zone. This area is full of dedicated individuals who not only love the Festival, but love children. Volunteers have the opportunity to help children of all ages on inflatables, interactive games and assist children’s entertainers when necessary.

Clarksville-Montgomery County School System youth organizations also have to chance to volunteer as a group and earn credit for their service.

More information can be found on the Volunteer Clarksville website – www.volunteerclarksville.volunteerhub.com/ .

Green Zone

We take green living seriously at the Festival! The Green Zone at the Rivers & Spires focuses on sustainable living, environmental stewardship and earth-friendly practices by incorporating them into daily life.

Vendors will offer products and services, non-profits will inform and educate and all booths will have interactive entertainment for the whole family. Recycling bins are also available everywhere a trash can is placed at Rivers and Spires.

Those interested in helping at the Green Zone can visit www.volunteerclarksville.volunteerhub.com/ .

Information Booth

For those who may love to talk and interact with others, the Information Booth is a great place to be. Volunteers in this area will answer questions on the Festival and assist visitors with directions and schedule information. All of the needed information is provided to the volunteers at a pre-Festival seminar on April 15th.

Volunteers may sit at the booth and no lifting or physical activity is required. The hours of the Information Booth are scheduled in two-hour minimum blocks, and the Information Booth is open during Festival hours.
