Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water will close a section of Madison Street between Twelfth and Eleventh streets tonight at 9:00pm until 2:00am.
The work being performed this evening is to repair a leaking water service line and a water outage is not anticipated.
The center lane of Madison Street will also be closed and motorists traveling east may pass using the outer eastbound lane during the work.
Motorists are advised to slow down when approaching work zones and follow directional signs and flaggers at all times, but especially during night time hours when visibility is limited.
