American Red Cross Two Rivers Chapter Responds to Devers Road Fire

Volunteers Assisting Family Members with Emergency Needs

American Red CrossClarksville, TN – Local Red Cross Disaster Action Team members responded to a deadly house fire located on Devers Road in Southern Montgomery County Monday, June 3rd.

Red Cross is assisting the family with food, shelter and emotional support after their loss.  They also provided coffee, snacks, water to emergency responders on the scene.

“Our hearts go out to the family members who have lost their loved ones,” said Executive Director, Julie Campos.  “The Red Cross works to bring hope and help to those in our community who are affected by disasters, like this fire, every day.

The Red Cross is also working closely with our partners, The Community Mental Health Foundation, in Clarksville to provide counseling for the surviving family members.

Every year, the Red Cross responds to nearly 70,000 disasters ranging from a home fire involving one family to larger disasters like hurricanes and wildfires that impact entire communities.
