Tennessee Titans ink deal with Third Round Pick Blidi Wreh-Wilson

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans have signed cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson. Wreh-Wilson was the Titans third-round draft pick of the 2013 NFL Draft. This only leaves Chance Warmack left unsigned from this years draft.

The Tennessee Titans used the 70th overall pick to take the Connecticut cornerback.

Wreh-Wilson is a 6-foot-2, 190 pound tough cornerback with a lot of athletic ability. He has the speed to close with receivers quickly after the catch if playing off and can use his hands and long arms to bat away balls.

In 2012, Wreh-Wilson played in and started 11 games for the Huskies Hew as honored as the team’s Most Valuable Player. He was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team.

He recorded 47 tackles on the season, He made seven tackles at Western Michigan (September 22nd), Rutgers (October 6th) and USF (November 3rd). Blidi had five tackles, a career-high four pass breakups and an interception in the end zone during the second overtime in a win at Louisville (November 24th)

He made 39 starts in 46 career games with UCONN. He posted 181 career tackles and eight interceptions for 171 return yards and a pair of scores.
