Acclaimed baritone Boehr, who is making his Roxy Regional Theatre debut this season, recently performed as Schaunard in La Bohème with the Fort Worth Opera and as Morales in Carmen with the Dallas Opera.

Set in an island paradise during World War II, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Tony Award-winning musical tells the sweeping romantic story of two couples and how their happiness is threatened by the realities of war and by their own prejudices.

These two parallel love stories are set against the backdrop of a score featuring such songs as “Some Enchanted Evening,” “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair,” “This Nearly Was Mine” and “There is Nothin’ Like a Dame.”
