Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department needs Volunteers for project at Robert Clark Park and Natural Area

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is looking for a few good men and women to help out with an upcoming project!

Volunteers are needed to help with the construction of the Blueway boardwalk at the Robert Clark Park and Natural Area, located along Tiny Town Road.

Work will take place August 6th-9th and 12th-16th. Any interested volunteers should contact Melissa Adkins with the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department at 931.645.7476 to sign up.

Volunteers may sign up for either of the available daily shifts. The morning shift will take place from 8:00am to noon and the afternoon shift will be from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Materials and water coolers will be supplied but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves, sunscreen and bug spray. Volunteers should be sure to wear sturdy shoes or work boots as well.
