Governor’s Square Mall to Host Comic, Sci-Fi Show and Star Wars Charity Meet and Greet This Weekend

Special Guests include Melissa Cowan from The Walking Dead and Comic Artist Drew Geraci

Governors Square MallClarksville, TN – This weekend, Governor’s Square Mall will be hosting its first ever Comic and Sci-Fi Show presented by Comic City Conventions.

The show will start Friday, July 19th at 10:00am going through Sunday and will take place near the Food Court across from Harris Jewelry. This event is free to the public and features comic, toy and anime vendors.

Melissa Cowan, the iconic Bicycle Girl zombie from the first episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead, will be on site all weekend starting Friday at 3:00pm signing free autographs.

Comic artist Drew Geraci will also be on site Saturday and Sunday signing free prints while supplies last. Show times are Friday and Saturday 10:00am–6:00pm and Sunday 11:00am–6:00pm.

The 501st Legion Mid-South Garrison will be hosting a charity meet and greet in the Food Court this Saturday from 1:00pm–4:00pm. Guests can take their picture, using their personal cameras, with the Star Wars characters for a $5.00 minimum donation to Dreams and Wishes of Tennessee.

Dreams and Wishes of Tennessee is non-profit charity granting wishes to children and young adults in Tennessee who have relapsed from cancer or have a second life threatening illness.
