Clarksville Parks and Recreation needs Volunteer Mentors for Youth Program

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is looking for those wishing to volunteer as mentors!

Volunteer mentors are needed for the upcoming Dream Chasers Group Mentoring Program.

Mentors will be working with at-risk youth, ages 13-17 in a small group atmosphere.

Small group leaders, guided by professionals, will mentor youth as they discuss dealing with negative influences that affect teens and will promote making healthy and informed decisions.

Mentors must be at least 18-years-old and may be male or female.

The Dream Chasers program will meet Wednesdays from 4:30pm until 5:30pm at the Burt-Cobb Community Center, and Thursdays from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at the Crow Community Center beginning September 4th, 2013
