Toy Day

Customs House Museum and Cultural CenterTired of always buying toys?

On Toy Day you can stop by the Customs House Museum and make some of your own!

On Friday, July 26th, from 10:00am-4:00pm, kids and their grown-ups are invited to come by for a day of creative fun.

South Pacific

Roxy Regional Theatre's "South Pacific" staring Alicia Kelly and John Boehr.Set sail for “South Pacific” this summer with the Roxy Regional Theatre, Clarksville’s oldest live theatre and only professional theatre.

Starring powerhouse vocalists John Boehr and Alicia Kelly as Emile de Becque and Nellie Forbush, the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic will close out the Roxy’s 30th Anniversary Season, with a Friday and Saturday show at 8:00pm. “South Pacific” plays through August 17th.

Lone Oak Picnic

Lone Oak Picnic famous BBQ Sandwich.The 105th annual Lone Oak Picnic will be held Saturday, July 27th, 2013, from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Central Civitan Building.

The Lone Oak Picnic features old time BBQ, political speeches, gospel and bluegrass music, inflatables, and a car show. All are welcome to attend.

Cooling at the Cave

Cooling at the CaveOn Saturday, July 27th, come out to the annual Cooling at the Cave event at Dunbar Cave State Park from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Join the Friends of Dunbar Cave Cave at the cave’s entrance for music, games and refreshments.

This year the entertainment is the Cumberland Wind Jazz Project, so bring your dancing shoes. The acoustics at the cave entrance really enhance the musical experience. We are honored to have such an established local band to provide quality entertainment.

Jazz on the Lawn

The Bicho Brothers Band at Jazz on the LawnBeachaven Winery’s next ‘Jazz on the Lawn’ concert to be held Saturday, July 27th featuring music by the Bicho Brothers Band. The music starts at 6:30pm and goes until 9:30pm.

Bicho Brothers Band is a Classic Rock cover band in Nashville, TN.

Movies in the Park

Disney - Pixar's Brave at Movies in the ParkClarksville Parks and Recreation invites you to come out Saturday, July 27th, to Heritage Park for Movies in the Park, featuring the animated hit, “Brave,” which is rated PG.

The movies begin at dusk, with pre-show activities, “Move before the Movies,” taking place an hour prior. Be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs. As always, you are welcome to bring your picnic basket, but concessions will also be available including biscuits and sweet tea from sponsor Bojangles! Sorry, no pets allowed.
