Middle Tennessee featured in national American Heart Association Heart Walk video

 

Signup underway for both local Heart Walks

American Heart Association - Heart WalkNashville, TN – Middle Tennessee receives yet another national recognition – and this time it’s because of YOU.

This year’s national Heart Walk video, created by the American Heart Association and distributed for national use for the hundreds of Heart Walks around the country, was shot in Middle Tennessee at last year’s record breaking Nashville Heart Walk, which drew 13,000 walkers.

We’re honored to have our local events and neighbors be held up as the example for the nation.

The Rutherford Heart Walk is just around the corner: Saturday, September 14th at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. The first-ever Fun Run starts at 8:25am, the Walk at 8:30am, and family-friendly festivities at 9:00am. Sign your fundraising team up here: www.rutherfordheartwalk.org. Registration is FREE.

The Heart Walk is nationally sponsored by Subway Restaurants and Jenny Craig. Local presenting sponsor of the Rutherford Heart Walk is Saint Thomas Heart at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
