Federal Direct Citizen Taxes and Power Grab

Federal Direct Citizen Taxation grants unlimited power to manipulate  citizens, our businesses, churches and organizations.  It is am invasion of our right to privacy, theft of our property and our 1st Amendment rights of free speech.

IRS Notices Strike Fear Into Citizens
IRS notices strike fear into the hearts of law abiding tax payers

Clarksville, TN – Exactly 100 years ago our Constitutional Rights were kicked to the curb allowing the Federal Government authority to directly tax citizens as individuals and groups.  State governments, representing it’s citizens, have the power to resist federal tyranny, individual citizens do not.

Abuse of IRS power requires change now. From it’s inception the federal income tax has increasingly invaded our privacy. Requiring or encouraging us to tell them more and more about ourselves in detail we would not ever share with our own families.

Now they have added the power to interrogate and pry into personal medical information and criminalize withholding information the Feds don’t need on census data collection.  Information is power, but in America political power is legally derived from We The People.

IRS bullying of good and honest citizens has led to heart attacks and worse.   The IRS gives no recourse on Federal direct citizen taxes, contrary to the Bill of Rights and our Constitution.  Citizens who fear their government are not a free people.

Removing Federal Direct Citizen Taxes

Perhaps things have become desperate enough that we will demand relief.  The IRS’s political nature has been exposed.  It is time to abolish the Internal Revenue Service.  Replace the Federal direct citizen taxes with a truly constitutional and state controlled system of taxation.  The Feds shouldn’t even expect a postcard sized return.

There is good evidence the 16th Amendment was never legally ratified.  We need to replace those who will not be on the record for ceasing the collection of direct Federal personal income taxes.  We must also elect local and state representatives who understand and have taken a stand to adopt and ratify the Liberty Amendment to repeal the Sixteenth Amendment, and provide that “Congress shall not levy taxes on personal incomes, estates, and/or gifts.” Our right to privacy and freedom from government meddling depends on absolute elimination of the rationale for such information.

Replacing Federal Direct Citizen Taxes

A tariff based revenue system supplemented by excise taxes could replace  the current tax system of the U.S. Government (including income taxes, payroll taxes, and estate taxes.)  Should these systems not cover the legitimate Constitutional costs of the federal government, let’s have an apportioned “state-rate tax”.  The responsibility for covering these costs would be divided between the states based on population.  So if a state contains 10 percent of the nation’s citizens, it will be responsible for payment of 10 percent of the remaining federal government costs.

Federal Direct Citizen Taxes = Unconstitutional Power Over Reach
Federal Direct Citizen Taxation, the 16th Amendment, has led to the unconstitutional over reach of Federal powers.

Much less tax money would be required if the federal government were held accountable to constitutionally limited spending.  Services and programs not permitted under the Constitution for the Federal Government are very much within the rights of individual states to institute under their own control and budget.

Replacing Federal direct citizen taxes will remove the ILLUSION of free money from the federal government. It will make the legislators who are actually responsible for collecting the taxes on every citizen accessible to every citizen not just national or foreign lobbyists.  As a result politicians will seek less, rather than more, federal spending, and less state spending as well.  This will end the futile exercise of sending millions of dollars to Washington to get pennies on the dollar return with strings.  Our state governments will no longer be dancing like puppets on federal strings.

Other important changes to taxation would include the use of motor fuel excise taxes, at rates not in excess of those currently imposed, to be used exclusively for the erection, maintenance, and administration of Federal highways. These taxes should never be used for “demonstration projects”, mass transit, or for other non-highway purposes.

Let’s reconsider the use of excise taxes to curb the use of tax dollars for media advertising, and to provide so-called “tax abatements,” “tax incentives,” and “economic development grants,” which are pretexts to raid the public treasury and rob the workingman for the benefit of wealthy interests favored by the politicians.
