LBL announces Annual Lyon County Between the Rivers Homecoming for 2013

Land Between the Lakes - LBLGolden Pond, KY – Former residents of the area now known as Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area will gather this fall for their annual Homecoming.

The event takes place Saturday, September 21st, at the Star Camp Picnic Area, just off Woodlands Trace in the northern portion of Land Between The Lakes. The homecoming event celebrates former residents of the Lyon County, Kentucky portion of LBL.

The yearly reunion brings former Between the Rivers residents together for visiting and reminiscing. All former residents, relatives, and friends are invited.

Those attending should bring food, beverages, lawn chairs, and any other picnic or recreation items they wish. Restrooms, picnic tables, and grills are provided.

Come Outside and Play at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area. Managed by the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Land Between The Lakes provides outdoor recreation, lake access, and environmental education for the public to enjoy.
