Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUClarksville, TN - Austin Peay State University’s volleyball team will get a clean slate as it opens Ohio Valley Conference play with a 7:00pm, Friday road contest at Jacksonville State before a 2:00pm, Saturday affair at Tennessee Tech that will wrap up a season-opening 17-match road trip.

Rossview High School Lady Hawks Volleyball defeats Northeast High School 3-0, Remain Undefeated

Rossview High School HawksNortheast High School EaglesClarksville, TN – Unconquered, unblemished, flawless- these are all adjectives used to describe the Rossview Lady Hawks District 10-AAA conference record. The seven other teams in the conference have made 13 attempts to stop them … and failed.

The latest attempt was made by the Northeast Lady Eagles Thursday night at Rossview’s home court. The Rossview Lady Hawks defeated the Lady Eagles 3-0 (25-9, 25-12, 25-12).

APSU Lady Govs Soccer opens OVC schedule this weekend against UT Martin; Southeast Missouri

 

Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUClarksville, TN - Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team will face a pair of big tests when they open their Ohio Valley Conference schedule this weekend. Austin Peay will host two-time defending OVC Tournament Champion UT Martin, 7:00pm, Friday, in a rematch of last season’s OVC Championship, before squaring off against Southeast Missouri in a 2:00pm, Sunday tilt.

Austin Peay State University Governors Basketball to begin Practice Friday, September 27th

 

Austin Peay State University Governors Sports - APSUClarksville, TN – First it was Midnight Magic to greet the start of basketball practice October 15th and then later it was Reigning Red.

But with the change in NCAA men’s rules to basically mirror the women’s side, October 15th is no longer the starting date for college basketball practice start.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports Commerce Street Lane Closure

 

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – A Clarksville Gas and Water construction crew has closed the eastbound lane of Commerce Street from Riverside Drive to North Spring Street for natural gas line maintenance work. The lane will be closed until 2:30pm.

Motorists are advised to be alert to directional signs and flaggers who will guide traffic around the work zone.
