Hike, Bike and Climb with Fort Campbell’s Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs in November

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – It may be November but that doesn’t stop Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs from planning some great trips for you!

Dog Hike, November 2nd, 10:00am to 12:00pm, $5.00. Hike the trails around Outdoor Recreation with your puppy pal. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Preregistration required by 4:00pm on October 31st.

Women in the Wilderness – Climbing, November 5th, 5:30pm to 8:00pm, $15.00. Ages 18 and over are invited to enjoy this outdoor activity while learning a new skill and meeting like-minded women. Ryder is 170 lbs and comes into his senior season with an 89-30 record. He has wrestled at Fort Campbell High School for 4 years.

Clarksville Police reports Traffic Accident turns to Aggravated Assault at corner of Madison Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, October 29th, 2013 at 07:45am, Police Officer L. Harris, from the Clarksville Police Department, responded to a crash at US-41 (Madison Street) and SR-76 (Martin Luther King Boulevard).

A 16 year old, driver of a blue ’13 Nissan Versa, caused a minor traffic crash with a 47 year old woman, Kimberly K. Traylor, driver of a white ’07 Chevrolet K15. Ms. Traylor got out of her vehicle and screamed and cussed at the 16 year old.

National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather and Wind Advisory for Clarksville-Montgomery County

 

NOAA - National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – A strong cold front will move across Middle Tennessee late this afternoon and evening, bringing with it widespread activity and the possibility of severe storms.

Given the highly-sheared, weakly-unstable environment expected ahead of the front, the primary threats are severe straight-line winds and isolated tornadoes.
