TDOT’s Second Series of Public Meetings for I-24 Corridor Study begins Tonight in Clarksville

Study to Identify Improvements for the 185 mile Interstate Corridor

Tennessee Department of TransportationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is working to complete the Interstate 24 Multimodal Corridor Study.

The goal of the study is to identify short and long-term solutions for improving problem spots along the entire 185 mile I-24 corridor from the Kentucky state line to I-75 in Hamilton County.

It is anticipated that this study will be completed in January 2014.

TDOT is conducting a second series of public meetings in cities along the I-24 corridor to present preliminary findings from the study and receive comments from public and key stakeholders.

Each meeting will run from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.

During each meeting, there will be a formal presentation to provide the background and current status of the project. The public is invited to ask questions and make comments during the meeting. Information gathered during these meetings will be considered in the prioritization of potential solutions.
