APSU Governors Football lose Home Opener to Eastern Illinois Panthers, 63-7

 

Austin Peay State University Governors Sports - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University, playing in its first home game of the 2013 season October 10th at Governors Stadium, saw Ohio Valley Conference opponent Eastern Illinois University score touchdowns on each of its first four drives to help propel the Panthers to a 63-7 victory.

Eastern Illinois (5-1, 2-0 OVC) struck quickly to start the night’s scoring, needing only 80 seconds and five plays to go the 70 yards –with Taylor Duncan taking it the in from 27 yards out for the touchdown and the 7-0 lead.

Clarksville Park and Recreation’s Boxing Cardio packs a punch of calorie-burning activity

Rossview High School Girls Golf Team finishes second at State; Clarksville High Wildcats’ Hunter Richardson ties for Eighth

 

Rossview High School HawksManchester, TN – Rossview High School girls golf team came up a little short of their third state title in school history, on Oct. 9th at the WillowBrook Golf Club, with a runner-up finish; while Clarksville High School’s Hunter Richardson tied for eighth place as an individual in the boys tournament.

The Lady Hawks were in a three-way tie for first place after the first 18 holes of play, with Science Hill High School and Farragut High School at 162, but were outshot 147 to 154 in the second round by Science Hill to finish seven shots back.

Blanchfield Army Hospital - BACH - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – In honor of the national observance of Columbus Day, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) personnel will observe the federal holiday Monday October 14th, therefore all clinics and pharmacies will be closed. The Emergency Center will remain open to provide acute and emergency medical care.
