Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Sunday, October 13th, 2013, Lathen Hogan of Chapmansboro, TN, driving a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup, ran a red light, while traveling North on Providence Boulevard, and struck a 2005 Chrysler Sebring, driven by Trevor Allen of Fort Campbell, KY, who was transported to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH).

The passenger, in the Sebring, was transported to Gateway Medical Center.

The 2005 Sebring was turning left onto Peachers Mill Road, from Providence Boulevard, and was sent into a 1997 Toyota Tacoma, driven by Mr. Roger Sadnick, of Clarksville, TN.

Mr. Sadnick did not receive any injuries. Mr. Hogan was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center shortly after arriving at Gateway Medical Center. (Injuries sustained are broken neck and possible internal injuries. Mr. Hogan was NOT using a seat belt)

Mr. Hogan drove his pickup into a guide wire and the Wishy Washy Laundromat sign on the corner of the intersection. After the pickup landed back on all four tires, Mr. Hogan exited his vehicle for a brief moment and got back in.

Witnesses stated he, then, spun his tires, in an attempt to flee the scene, and nearly struck two pedestrians that were on scene assisting with the collision. Mr. Hogan was stopped by civilians, not too far from the collision site. The Investigating Officer is still in the process of locating witnesses.

Mr. Hogan did voluntarily submit a blood sample. Family members stated that Mr. Hogan may be suffering from other unknown medical conditions. At this time we do not believe alcohol was a factor.
