Friends of Dunbar Cave Annual Fall Hike at Dunbar Cave State Park October 18th-19th

Dunbar Cave State Park - Clarksville TNClarksville, TN – The Friends of Dunbar Cave and the Starcatcher Initiative would like to invite you to “Animal Tales:  The Tale of Hansel and Gretel.”

Join Barty the Bat, Roxy Raccoon, Ophelia the Owl and Park Ranger Skip as they share tales of Dunbar Cave history and the adventures of Hansel and Gretel while touring Clarksville’s only state park at night.

Due to the overwhelming success of past Fall events sponsored by the Friends of Dunbar Cave, this tour will be held on two nights, Friday and Saturday – October 18th-19th. The first tour is at 6:00pm each night.

Tickets are $5.00 per person.  To help ensure efficient tours, tickets MUST BE purchased in advance at the park’s Visitor Center between 8:00am-11:00am, 3:00pm-3:30pm and 5:00pm-6:00pm Monday thru Wednesday or between 1:00pm-4:00pm on Saturdays.

All tickets must be purchased by 3:30pm Thursday, October 17th.  Purchase tickets early to make sure you get the tour time that works best for you.

Be sure to bring a flashlight to light your way through the tour.   The Friends of Dunbar Cave will serve hot cider and cocoa before each tour – donation are welcomed but not required.  The tour is family friendly and not intended to be scary.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
