Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting October 17th, 2013

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – In Montgomery County, Cheatham County and Robertson County, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Thursday, October 17th through Wednesday, October 23rd, from 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekends), there will be periodic lane closures (rolling road blocks) in each direction on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in (Cheatham, Montgomery, and Robertson Counties in District 33) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.

This will be a moving operation, weather permitting.

TDOT Maintenance: Middle Tennessee

On Thursday, October 17th through Wednesday, October 23rd, from 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekends), there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

On Thursday, October 17th through Wednesday, October 23rd, 9:00am-3:00pm and 7:00pm-1:00am, (excluding weekends), there will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates. All lanes will remain open. (Weather permitting)

On Thursday, October 17th through Wednesday, October 23rd, October 16th, 8:00pm-1:00am, (excluding weekends), there will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing. One lane will remain open. (Weather permitting)

On Thursday, October 17th through Wednesday, October 23rd, 9:00am-3:00pm and 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

On Thursday, October 17th and Tuesday, October 22nd, 7:00pm-5:00am, there will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions between mile marker 32 and mile marker 40 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open. (Weather permitting)

Robertson and Sumner Counties

On Thursday, October 17th through Wednesday, October 23rd, 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekends), there will be periodic lane closures (rolling road blocks) in each direction on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in each direction in (Robertson and Sumner Counties in District 32 and District 33) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control. This will be a moving operation. (Weather permitting)
