Clarksville Police Department to have Extra Patrols out for Trick-or-Treat Thursday and Friday

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, October 31st, 2013, all Clarksville and Montgomery County Public Safety agencies, including City of Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan and Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bower, met to discuss how potentially bad weather, forecasted for tonight, may pose a threat to those participating in outdoor trick-or-treat activities.

While the City and County cannot cancel a holiday, both do realize that the forecast for tomorrow night’s weather is better for participating in outdoor trick-or-treat activities.

Therefore, on behalf of the Clarksville Police Department, not only will we have extra Patrol Officers out tonight, but we will have extra Patrol Officers out tomorrow night as well, to keep participants safe either night they choose to trick-or-treat.
