Fort Campbell reschedules Trick-or-Treating due to inclement weather

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Due to the possibility of inclement weather, Halloween activities at Fort Campbell, including Operation Friendly Ghost, have been rescheduled for Friday, November 1st, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

The Provost Marshal Office will still coordinate with volunteers from the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) and Campbell Crossing housing office to help monitor busy intersections and control traffic during heavy trick-or-treat times.  Fort Campbell is committed to providing a fun and safe environment for the community.

WHAT: Operation Friendly Ghost: Fort Campbell’s annual on-post Halloween trick-or-treating

WHO: The Fort Campbell Community

WHEN: 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, November 1st, 2013

WHERE: Fort Campbell housing areas

HOW: Trick-or-treaters are asked to stay in designated trick-or-treating areas and parents/guardians are asked to accompany their small children as they make their way around post collecting Halloween treats. Volunteers from BOSS and Campbell Crossing will be available to assist with street crossing and traffic flow to ensure little ghosts and goblins can collect their goodies safely throughout the evening.
