November Chamber of Commerce Events

Clarksville Area Chamber of CommerceClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces upcoming events and announcements for the month of November.

Upcoming events include the Chamber’s Annual Veterans Day Breakfast at the Austin Peay State University Morgan Center, and the November Business After Hours which will be held at James Corlew Chevrolet on College Street.

Veterans Day Breakfast

On November 9, the Chamber will be hosting the 21st Annual Veterans Day Breakfast at the Austin Peay State University Morgan Center. The morning will begin with a buffet style breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed by a salute to our veterans and then will conclude with Dr. Mark Green, Tennessee State Senator for District 22, serving as the keynote speaker.

Senator Green serves as the Vice-Chair of the Senate Commerce and Insurance Committee as well as a member of the Judiciary and State and Local Government Committees. He is also the Chaplain of the Senate GOP Caucus where he authors a weekly devotion. In his first session in the Tennessee General Assembly “Doc Green” passed legislation to create jobs, assist veterans, and fight horrific crimes like sexual assault and assault on law enforcement. He initiated a Facebook page that allows out-of-work Tennesseans to post their resumes for free, and businesses to post jobs for free. Senator Green was selected as the Tennessee Journal’s Rookie of the year, appointed co-chair of Physician Legislators from 16 states, and was recognized as one of GOPAC’s top 21 Emerging Leaders.

Business After Hours

The Chamber’s Business after Hours will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 5-7 p.m. James Corlew Chevrolet, 722 College Street, will host the event. Business After Hours is offered to Chamber members at no cost.

Holiday Closures

Additionally, the Chamber office will also be closed on Monday, November 11 for Veterans Day, and November 28-29 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
