On The Court with Marlon Scott: Week 3 High School Basketball Recap for Clarksville

Clarksville, TN – The holiday and severe weather warnings quieted the high school basketball courts this week. Most teams got an extra week of rest with an opportunity to eat lots of turkey and possibly catch up on homework.

A couple of teams did hit the courts over the weekend.

Boys Basketball
The Northeast Eagles traveled to Murfreesboro Friday where they were grounded by the undefeated Siegel Stars. Deandre Cross scored 14 points in the loss.

The West Creek Coyotes split the weekend, first earning a win against Whites Creek Friday and then going on to lose against Stewarts Creek.

Marlon Scott is a freelance journalist and writer. He graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2011 with a B.S. in Communications, majoring in Communication Arts with a concentration in print and web journalism. His writing career began as a sports writer for The All State, the APSU student newspaper, in 2006.
