Clarksville, TN – The 12th annual award-winning Rivers and Spires Festival, held in Historic Downtown Clarksville, Tennessee, is currently accepting applications for vendors, volunteers and entertainers.
The 2014 Festival will be held Thursday, April 24th through Saturday, April 26th. As in years past, Thursday night will have limited entertainment and concessions. The Family Fun Zone, with activities for toddlers to teens, will not be open until 5:00pm Friday night.
Volunteers
The Festival is made possible year after year because of the hard work of over 600 volunteers. The Festival is always looking for individuals and groups to help in the Family Fun Zone and assist in logistics. If you are interested in being a part of the Rivers & Spires team, please apply online at www.riversandspires.com and make sure to mark what days you are available.
There is no deadline to apply to volunteer and you will walk away with one of the coveted Festival t-shirts.
Vendors
One of the elements that make Rivers and Spires continue to grow each year is the vendors that come out and set up booths throughout the Festival. Lining the streets is everything from art and collectables to delicious treats and activities.
Both businesses and non-profits are encouraged to apply to be a part of the Festival and this is a great opportunity for your organization to be exposed to over 40,000 people. Remember, information is being updated daily, so it’s best to check back often. There is still room available, but hurry as booth space is limited.
Entertainers
The free entertainment is what drives thousands of people to Rivers and Spires each April. If you think your band or act has what it takes to entertain our crowds, then go on to www.riversandspires.com and apply. Be sure to include as much information as possible about your act and what days your are available to perform.
If you are selected then you will be added to our entertainment lineup for the 2014 Festival. Time slots are limited so be sure to apply early. If you are selected to perform you will be contacted by the Festival entertainment committee.
About the Festival
The 12th annual Rivers & Spires Festival will be held April 24th-26th, 2014 in Historic Downtown Clarksville. This event has five stages of entertainment with over 100 entertainers performing all three days. From family fun for toddlers to teens, arts & crafts, car shows, military exhibits, refreshments, shopping and so much more this is truly an event for the whole family. Admission to the Festival is free including all concerts and most games and activities.
