Austin Peay State University offers new online medical writing course

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s Center for Extended and Distance Education, in its ongoing mission to provide high-quality online courses, has partnered with ed2go to offer hundreds of online, instructor-led courses.

This partnership recently led to the creation of “Explore a Career in Medical Writing,” a new online course at APSU.

Participants in this course will learn about the various types of medical writing, gain insights about what goes into putting together a solid and compelling article and master the medical and statistical terminology needed in this field.

This course is part of the Center for Extended and Distance Education’s growing catalog of more than 300 instructor-facilitated online courses.

Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction and interaction with fellow students, participants in these courses gain valuable knowledge at their convenience.

They have the flexibility to study at their own pace, combined with enough structure and support to complete the course. And they can access the classroom at any time, from any location with an Internet connection.

New sessions of each course run every month. They last six weeks, with two new lessons being released weekly (for a total of 12). The courses are entirely Web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes and assignments. A dedicated professional instructor facilitates every course; pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback and facilitating discussions.
