Camden will play Northwest High School on December 30th at 1:30pm.

After leading 28-11, with 7:47 left in the third quarter following a basket by Nyasia Saines, the Lady Wildcats started to see Camden (7-4) get its offense untracked cutting the deficit down to just 10 points by the end of the quarter, 32-22.

Saines finished with 10 points, the only Lady Wildcat to break into double figures.

The slide for Clarksville got even worst in the fourth quarter, as the Lady Lions scored the first eight points of the period to make it a two-point ballgame, 32-30, with 4:55 left in the game.

But Correa knocked down a long three from the left wing, with 4:29 left, to make it a five-point game.

Camden would come down and miss a shot on its end and on Clarksville High’s next trip down Correa hit a short jumper to make it 37-30.

But the real dagger came on the Lady Wildcats next possession, with Cummings hitting a kick-off three from the right corner to make it a 10-point game, 40-30, with 3:07 left.

Camden just couldn’t buy a basket after that, as the Lady Lions would tally only one more field goal on the night – coming with 56 seconds left – to make it 40-32.

But Correa came down a hit a three followed by Haley Bearden hitting one of two free throws in the final 30 seconds to cap off the 44-32 win.

In the first half, Clarksville High broke open a 4-4 tie with 12 straight points to close the first period and take a 16-4 lead.

The second quarter would see Camden score the first five points to get back within seven, 16-9, with 5:48 left, but Clarksville High would hold the Lady Lions to only two more points the rest of the way in the first half to take a 26-11 lead into intermission.
